The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

WOW! Talk about another instant classic! I am soooo excited for this movie! Not only was the first one an amazing film, it was the first date I went on with my now, fiance. The first one has so many memories for me, and I just know that this will bring them back. I even read the book for this one, so having that will make watching it so much more interesting. The trailer really made me want to reread the book before its release (for almost all books that have become movies, I've seen the movie before reading the book, so I'm finally getting it right this time :) Now it's time for you to watch the AWESOME trailer...

Why I LOVE Summer!

Let me tell 'ya, summers are the BEST!  Not only because of swimming and other fun summer activities, that's right, you guessed it, it's the movies!  Almost all the best ones come out in the summer.  If I didn't know better, I would say next summer will be even better than this summer, and that's sayin' a lot... The Golden Compass

I recently went to a showing of The Golden Compass, and am pleased to report that it was quite enjoyable despite the lack of amazing reviews.  The film keeps you interested in what is happening from start to finish and I am excited to see the sequels.  If you haven't heard of this one, I'd suggest giving it a gander...

Indiana Jones IV Trailer

It has been rumored that the trailer for Indiana Jones IV: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, will play before showings of the Spiderwick Chronicles.  Indiana Jones IV, will again star Harrison Ford, and this time,  he will be joined by rising star Shia LeBeouf.  Out of the many summer movies that I am excited for, this is sure to be one of the best.  Make sure you get yourself to a theater for the Spiderwick Chronicles, just in case it's true... and once again, even if you go only for the trailer, you may find that the movie wasn't too bad.  This also looks to be an interesting release if you have a bit of imagination, and don't mind a little CG.  Take a peek...

Dark Knight Update

It has been reported that the Dark Knight trailer will play before showings of I Am Legend.  It has also been said that the first scene from The Dark Knight will play before IMAX showings of the same movie.  I cannot wait!  Batman Begins was an amazing cinematic experience, and this sequel, will surely be as well! I read of a stunt involving a huge fall for Batman, so you know that they are trying again to do as much of it as real as possible, and using CG to enhance.  This is always a sign for good movies, when they don't get carried away with computer generated images, but still have intense action.  Not to mention, I Am Legend doesn't look like a real tough movie to sit through... check out the trailer and see if you don't agree that you're getting a two for one special...

National Treasure 2

Back to upcoming theatrical releases, National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is here in under 2 months. If you've not seen the first, you're not cool enough to be reading this blog until you go watch it. The sequel looks to be a more than worthy addition to the series, but don't take my word for it, check out the trailer for yourself.
